So ... they went on sale Saturday at 10 ... I got mine and 7 others at the 134 price ... they've now gone up to the 149 price ... so it is most likely that they will not be on sale for very much longer. so who has actually purchased tickets?

I hear they are all gone. I'm going to skip bonnaroo so I can afford other stuff, I'm going to 10,000 lakes music festival, panic at the red rocks, and hopefully a few Phish and Dead summer tour shows.

i got mine...i missed the 134 dollar allotment by about 2 minutes too...oh well.
For those of you that can't afford it but want to go...i recomend you just go. Last year two of my ticketless friends followed us to the show with hopes that they could just pay a security guard and go in(or sneak in if that failed) And sure enough...the first security guard they asked let them in for 40 bucks a piece, car and all.
I thought about doing that this time...but i'd rather drive the 10 hours and know for sure i'm getting in.

got mine. lets hear some advice on the traffic. what day do you guys plan on going. after last year they probably have some ideas, but there is only so much they can do. the one thing and one thing only that affects how fast that backup from the north south east and west, it all depends on how fast they can line you to park. they need to be faster at checking out vehicles and split them into a dozen or more dirrections to park. once ya get in though everything is allright. untill ya leave anyway.

An RV would definately be PIMP. First off ... you'd have an indoor ... quasi quiet place to sleep. AND you'd have somewhere to take the ladies. But, I don't know if I'd want to deal with all that though.
As far as meeting up or anything of that sort goes .. a lot of my friends and myself will be meeting in Louisville before we go down. We're going to make a sort of caravan so we can all get in the same camping area .. .and create a little piece of 502 ... at Bonnaroo. SO ... if anyone is north of Louisville ... you should meet us in Louisville before we go. If not .. what the fuck ever .. that's your business.
If you don't meet with us beforehand ... I'm certain you'll come upon our campsite ... we're going to set up some kind of flag. The Louisville flag is navy blue ... with three fleur d' lise (spelling) ... and a ring of stars on the side ... so if you see it ... come visit for a moment. we'll get a picture together at least.

Louisville sounds good. I'll be comeing from Chicago so caravan would be a great idea.
I like the RV b/c num 1: peace and quite if I need it and 2: a shower, bathroom, and comfort if I'm stuck in traffic for 12hrs.
It shouldn't be too bad if I split the cost 6 ways and driving is no problem. I like driving big shit like that. Especially for a 600+ mile trip.

You're the assholes who over crowd the place. They sell more tickets than they should for that ground already, don't spread stupid ideas like that.

You can add my name I'm pretty sure I'll be there now. You may need to improvise your plan because they will funnel you down a one lane road into the main gate which spreads out into like 15 check points so its very unlikely you will stay near your friends or get placed into the same camp ground. After the check points all hell breaks loose with cars going every direction. I had one vehicle to follow last year and we barely kept track of each other.

hey man...i bought my tickets both times, and i have no control over what other people do. it aint my fault.
I didn't really think about overcrowding..i was just trying to offer an option to the less fortunate people that might want to go...the people at the gates who let them in didn't seem to think it was a problem. I see your point though, and i'll stop spreading around my crazy schemes.
