get a non-toxic organic insecdticide from your local nursery (anything you would use for garden vegetables)

as a note, i don't recomend using pesticides as a long-term. if pests become a long-term problem, you may want to reassess your growing environment.

Soak cigarette butts in h20 overnight, mix with pungent spices, spray on plant. Repeat as necessary. Nicotine is a highly toxic chemical. Some greenhouses use nicotine "bombs" to kill ALL insects.

exept you must remember that tobaco is pretty astringant. don't over do it, you don't want to upset the PH of your soil.

there are quite a few types of bugs that live on/in plants, so it's hard to say what they are. i do know that the most common are mites, but again, there are a lot of those.
aside from curiosity, it's less important to know what they are than to get rid of them.
have you noticed any damage from feeding?
