Agaricus campestris? Edible?

Seeing these reminded me of a photo I'd seen of meadow mushrooms so I filled a paper lunch bag with them. On the way home I remembered thinking about how difficult the Agaricus key I'd looked at was because of all the KOH and microscopy questions. I'm hoping someone else will be able to recognize these and let me know if I should go clean and cook them or throw them away.
Habitat Growing in grass all over a couple fields. Some partial fairy rings.
Gills pores/gills: Gills color: Pink, then purplish, then dark brown attachment: Free
Stem length: 1-3” diameter: 3/8-5/8” color: White texture: Smooth hollow/solid: Solid ring: Present only on young ones
Cap diameter: 1” to 3.75” color: Mostly white. Covered with fibers that got kind of dirty in the bag. The center of the caps were often a bit yellowish. Most caps (especially older ones) had areas of pink/purple coloring. It rained heavily earlier today. texture: Fibrous shape: Mostly round, some irregular convex/concave: Convex at first, plane in age
Spore print Waiting, but dark.
Bruising I don’t think so. How yellow do the yellow-bruising Agaricus turn?
I have no idea why my photos look sepia colored. I did not have the sepia setting turned on.

Pretty mild. It rained very heavily today so that might affect it. The gills smell a bit mushroom-y but mostly like nothing. If I break a stem, the inside smells sweet.

As long as they don't yellow they are IMO one of our varieties of 'campestris'. Did you taste yet?

Not yet. I want to wait for a TI first because if I taste it and it's delicious but turns out not be edible I'll be sad.

It is not bruising bright yellow. I don't think it is bruising at all but I haven't ever found an Agaricus that I knew was a bruising species so I don't have anything to compare to. Do you have any photos of the bruising so I can see what it is supposed to look like?

YES!!!!!
Is there anything particularly distinctive about these that I can keep in mind when I go back to those fields? I was in two fields today but there are quite a few more fields in that area.

I find them very distinctive. I find them in the same fields that I hunt liberty caps in and being bright white spots in a sea of green you usually see them from far away.

God I am so excited about this. Finally an edible that grows abundantly enough that I can cook a meaningful amount!

Both. But I usually trim the stems down to the caps. The caps are better.
