alrite....i just mixed up some brf/verm and put a little more than 1/4 cup of water in each, and then i sterilized in pot, then innoculated with like 2 ccs in each jar...and it just seems like everything is VERY wet inside....the substrate looks like soggy ass oatmeal
is this bad for colonization??

heres a pic of the bottom, which i way more soggier tahn the sides but the sides are still pretty soggy

But if it looks like soggy ass oatmeal you want to dump them and start over.

yeah... I don't know how that pic is supposed to help us help you. But if your substrate is too wet colonization will usually start but it rarely, if ever, finishes. It'll end up stalling out around the bottom 1/3 of the jar. Cut your losses now and start over.

the reason they became so god damn soggy was because of the syringe innoculation!! i put like half a cc at each point and hella water was coming out...o well
im just gonna put them in a dark place and see what happens
