Has anyone watched that movie while tripping? I did on a low dose trip, but it wasnt that good. I am eating an eighth tonight and i was wondering if anyone has watched it on a similiar dosage.

It's ok when you're really ripped, 3 g or more... but I stress "just ok." There were times when I was really into it, but I found myself losing intrest in the movie and checking out things around me.

Yellow Submarine is by far the very best movie to watch while tripping. If you don't like the Beatles, you probably won't like it.

I've watched it on LSD quite a few times, and it's amazing. It boosts my trip a lot. That movie was made for tripping. There is some crazy shit in it that will make you bug out.

Watching that movie led to having one of the craziest experiences with two friends on acid.

One of the things I like about the movie is the fact that it's got a lot of symbolism. The Blue Meanies represent the esablishment, and they tried to take anything beautiful and make it lifeless. The people of Pepperland can't do anything about it, so they go to get the Beatles to save the day, and they do. They make the Blue Meanies see the light, and everyone lives happily ever after. That's what I love about the 60's psychedelic movement. They were all so enthusiastic about the future. They really thought they were going to save the world. They just underestimated the power of the government to stomp out any culture that it doesn't like.

I give Yellow Submarine 5 stars.

I watched Yellow Submarine for the gentle 2 hour comeup of a summertime 2C-I experience and it was wonderful.  The finale is great!

That's cool. My favorite part is George's "Only A Northern Song". That's such a great song. You gotta love the sea of holes scene though. That's ultra trippy. The scene where they show all of the pictures really fast is incredible as well if you follow all of the pictures. The music going along with it makes you feel like you're on a roller coaster ride. All you can say is "whoa" once it's over.

Yes, I much enjoyed the ultra-fast slideshow of England - and the music is definitely awesome

The entire movie is very well done and involving in my opinion -- of course, I wasn't watching it during the peak of my experience but I think even then it'd be pretty sweet
