does humidity take long to build up?
    #1325028 - 02/21/03 01:49 PM (21 years, 1 month ago)

just asking as I just birthed my first cake. I was told to dunk my cakes cause they were pulling from the jars. I dunked them for 18 hrs and i have now placed in the terrarium. well i misted with water all walls and cover. but my meter is only reading 45%rh. after about 15 mins it went up to 49% now my question is that this thermometer came with a sensor probe. it tells me the temp inside with the unit and outside with the sensor. My question is the Rh getting read by the unit or the sensor probe?

Rob

ok i figuered out that its the actual unit that reads the rh. I think i am just going to keep this for home use and just buy a standard cheap $3.00 thermometer with a humidity meter.

now my other prob is that my rh is at about 65% and thats its. I tried to add a little more water to my perlite as i had no water in the perlite. I just wet the perlite than i drained it and put it in the terrirum.
