Mini Terrarium Design Suggestions *pics*

Let me start off by saying that all these components together would make a remarkable single unit (2 fruiting chambers & incubator). However, do to space constraints that design will not yet be implemented. This rubbermaid container was purchased at WalMart for $19. Pretty costly but the small, domed style had me sold.
Below are designs that I am considering. I decided to get some ideas from you members on this project. The small, domed enclosure will house 2 narrow pie pans OR im even considering using 1 of the long, narrow, hard-plastic trays as pictured, painted black. Does anyone think that those would be bad? Another thing that I'm considering that isnt mentioned in the designs is the use of perlite to keep up the humidity. Ive never used perlite so feedback is appreciated. I am designing this to be automated so I dont really want to have to spray it to keep up the humidity. I want to also add that anything that can be sealed- will be. I will most likely use liquid nails because it has proven to be the solution for this type of application in the past. Now for the designs
Design 1: Small domed enclosure only. Water run off will go into wide, large white tray. Heat source will be a heating pad placed along the back of the terrarium most likely. Christmas lights to add lighting. All Christmas lights will probably have a rubber gromet around them from the outside.
Design 2: Small domed enclosure only. Water run off will go into 1st narrow white tray. Heat soure will be aquarium heater in 2nd narrow white tray. However, I'm not sure if this is a good idea to put an aquarium heater in a plastic tray this small. This will probably result in modification of the hard, plastic tray. Also, I'm not sure how loud the aquarium heaters are?
Design 3: Small domed enclosure plus 2nd largest, middle enclosure. Heat source will be a heating pad on side of lower, middle enclosure. Since this is so small, im considering weather or not I want to add a tyvek. Its my guess that because its so small its going to need more air exchange. Also, I dont want to give it too much because I want to keep the humidity up. Any comments on small terrariums (humidity, air exchange, etc)? This is the first one I have designed so I don't really wanna mess it up if I dont have to. The middle fruiting chamber will have an air line or two ran into it. A long bubble wall combined with geolite in the bottom will provide humidity and air exchange. I've read that it is better to have the humidity supplied at the top of the terrarium. Mine would be from the bottom but im sure id probably work out just fine. Will the bubble wall create enough air exchange for just the little terrarium? I think so. In addition, Christmas lights will be added to the sides of bottom chamber as well. Any recommendations on the placement of tyvek & lights, humidity sources, incubator and whatever else in my design is appreciated. Thanks all and I hope you like my plans. I will keep this thread updated as I start my construction.
Incubator Design: Paint black, mount heating pad to the side of the incubator. Add some Tyvek to the side to allow air exchange.

I like this design and I think it could also work well sitting next to a CPU for warmth.
my two cents.
good luck keep us posted...

Yah, good thought, didnt think of that. How much perlite do you think I'll have to put in my terrarium? Should I line the bottom floor or put it in some type of container?
