Thought I'd share my Poor Man's Terrarium with you all. I used to use these when I grew cakes. I'm messing around with some cakes again and had a few extra so I decided to use a few of my Poor Man's Terrarium's.
They are easy to make! You use a large Cool Whip or Butter container for the bottom. You use a clear plastic container that candy or nuts comes in, from Costco for the Dome lid on top...If you don't have a Costco where you live I'm sure if you look around you can find something very simular.

You put some damp perlite in the bottom container. I use 10 to 1 ...Water mixed with hydrogen peroxide.
I'm using 4 Texas strain PF 1/2 pint cakes...1 in each Terrarium.

Texas strain PF cake sitting on Alum foil on top of perlite.

Another Texas PF cake in container.

You mist the inside of the Dome lid...they put it on top of the bottom container.

3 of the 4 Terrarium's fit nicely up on top of my Computer! The other is on top of the TV.

You will want to mist the inside of the Dome at least once a day and fan them several times a day also. These Terrarium's work out great for fruiting cakes...they take up very little space in your place. I enjoyed having them around to watch the mushrooms fruit.

High Roadkill,
While I was reading your post, I looked to the left of my screen. Focussed om my computer case and had to smile
My poorman is a candy container, Dutch marsmellow were in it. First I had a polyfill plug in the lid, now I added a fancy microfilter (thanx 6T) just to give it a futuristic look.
Just had to a this to this threat
