I sent 17 prints to australia in one envelope and they were all confiscated by customs and they said they would burn them unless I sent them $40, in which case they would return them.
I resent the 17 prints in 17 different envelopes and they all made it.
The moral of the story is to make it look really thin like a normal letter.

And make sure its a smooth envelope that feels like a letter, not a bumpy one. Mine were siezed in a bumpy envelope.

Return address on the envelope?

Alan gives good advice.
Keep it like a standard letter and all should be fine. Try not to have them labeled as being Psilocybe sp. spores as they are illegal and it can give the authorities an excuse to ruin your life. They like to do that here in Ockerland.......
If they get intercepted you will receive this letter which asks for your money.

Does not matter. I used a fake return address because I did not really need the spore prints returned to me in the case of something going wrong. They are not going to send police for trying to mail spores.

If this is the case, don't even bother. They will be seized. Find another vendor.

The only reason an envelope would be inspected is if it were irregular in some way. If it looks like a normal letter, then you probably won't have any problems. They deal with too many letters to manually scrutinise them. Chances are the only person to read what's written is the post man looking for an address.
