i must say, i am quite surprised that all you "scientific methodistists" would so quikly disbielive, and even ridicule a technique that is unfamiliar and deviates from your norm? i would expect it in the newbie section but you guys claim to be interested in the science of mycology, you should think twice before puting down an idea that does not meet the "status quo", and always keep an open mind.

Good Will keeps on hunting for truth.... truth of the matter is that concretefeet will not suffer any repercussions for flames unless directed at an "all knowing" ''mod". There's a few threads about using activated charcoal in a casing. It was discovered that agaricus bisporus, which normally requires micro-organisms in its casing layer, was able to fruit from a sterile casing that contained activated charcoal. The theory seemed to be that the a.c. serves the same purpose as the micro-organisms; eliminating metabolites/waste.
This seems to be related. It would be interesting to see if simply rolling a cake in a.c. would produce similar results. Perhaps this could also benefit bulk casings/substrates by helping to reduce the "piss" that is so common.

Guess I sorta assumed it wasn't considering I got da boot w/o warning. I have nothing against no one, just saying all should get equal treatment (while under a half 1/5 of Canadian Mist ). Though not when its excessive.
