Rhinoceros cage doubles as cannabis den

A ZOO worker has been fired for turning a rhinoceros enclosure into a cannabis plantation.

The 59-year-old caretaker at Hellbrunn in western Austria was able to grow over 30 marijuana plants in the enclosure, the zoo's director told the Austria Press Agency.

The small plantation was in an area of the rhinoceros' cage that was closed to the public and to which the caretaker had exclusive access.

The zoo found out about its employee's side business when narcotics officers turned up in early September, after a tip-off by one of the planter's clients.

The employee was fired and the plants removed, the zoo said.

im surprised they didnt throw in a fake estimate on the value of those plants like always, umm thirty plants that would be a ummm formulating estimate without knowing the actual value of weed carry the two mumbel mumbel a million dollars? yup the mastermind made a million dollars selling rino bud

Marijuana is decriminalized in WA Australia . That amount and being grown in the zoo would definitely lead to an arrest tho ... And I also think he would of been doing it for years ... very common over there  :thumbup: I doubt there would be much more than a fine and maybe some sort of good behavior bond at worst
