If someone goes to a Burger King and parks in the parking lot(doesn't buy anything) and uses Burger King's free wireless internet access to look at porn...then a police cruizer shows up and parks in a space facing straight towards the porn viewer, and the porn viewer drives off, should the porn viewer be worried of anything?
If this is the third time the porn viewer has had this problem, all in three different spots, should the porn viewer be worried about the police?

I would be worried less about the police, and more that you are fwappin it to porn outside of burger king.

Police are probably wondering why some dude is sitting in his car in parking lots. It is a bit odd. Police tend to look for things that are a bit odd.

Maybe it was reported, but since the police couldn't do anything, they just showed up to scare me away....

Looking at porn is not illegal at home, but may be illegal in public.
There was a case a couple years back where a cop car observed someone watching porn on the built in LCD screen of a SUV. The cop pulled the person over and arrested them. I do not remember the exact charge or the outcome of the case.

That is probably because the driver was watching it? I don't know but I heard about a similar case and it was the driver, last year or so.
In Portland Oregon you can walk into a public librabry and look at porn on the computer. Nothing will happen.
Of course in Oregon if you get caught pissing in public you also don't get put on the sex offenders list. Free willy!

I remember that. I think it was somewhere along the lines of public display of obscene material or somesuch.

It was not in view of the driver.

By Mark Spain First Coast News
JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Police arrested two men who played porn on a screen in their car that children could see.
29-year-old Benjamin Glover and his passenger 25-year-old Desmond Ross were stopped for playing a pornographic movie clearly visible from the rear of the vehicle, according to the police report.
The report goes on to say that as many as two children in another vehicle and three in yet another watched it when Glover was stopped at a light near Myrtle and Moncrief.
"It wasn't porn. We were watching The Players Club movie," said Glover. He said he has hired a lawyer to fight the charge.
Local law states that a person cannot show obscene materials to a minor. The crime is a third degree felony punishable by up to five years behind bars.
Ross was also charged with drug possession. He is still behind bars.
