Fantastically Fuzzy Fungi
    #1320277 - 02/19/03 06:45 PM (14 years, 1 month ago)

What might be causing this persons fungi to be so damn fuzzy?
He exchanges air three times a day, and mists when things look dry.

Strain is Malabar grown on a popcorn substrate, no significant "fuzzification" whith EQs treated in an identical manner.

Fuzzy stems usually occur when the humidity is too high.

Are the Malabar and EQs in the same terrarium ?

What would this have to do with anything?  They are both P. Cubensis and are grown using the same parameters.

It's just that he said there was no significant "fuzzification" with EQs treated in an identical manner.

Perhaps you would like to give your explanation for the fuzz Happygrins ?

Humidity is deffinantly the problem. My friend had some that looked like that and they all aborted before they were an inch tall. When hand spraying, I think most TEKs exagerate how much spraying is realy required.
