don't count on the myc. 'overtaking it'.
it does not usually go that way.
the contam, even if driven from the surface, will likely survive in the cake's interior.
not worth messing with.

I tried breaking it in half and casing the good half. Waiting for fruits still, but it's looking good. worth a try.
