muscle release therapy
    #13192401 - 09/14/10 12:35 AM (13 years, 5 months ago)

Man, I could use a lot of this. I mean the professional kind, for all the muscle knots and such.

I have done tons of stretches at home, but nothing seems to fix this issue that has been going on for years/

I won a settlement from the workers comp injury (data entry) that started it, but even as it gets better with exercise, it is still a pain in the ass.

I really want to get better. This is in my neck and particulary my right arm, i can't realy use a mouse on my right side, but never felt the left side felt any different from the standpoint of dexterity with the mouse. Other people seem to but I never did  even before the injury

i do all kind of things to stretch muscles and allow certain ones to release. I think a good chiropractor plus muscle release therapy is the answer.

Anyone have any success stories over chronic pain? O I want to get my right side working as well again, but I just don't know what to do to ensure that I get over this, I know it gets better and better, but its so slow, and I should be doing something to speed it up.

I am tired of hurting, I am hoping someone had a positive experience getting over what is extremely annoying to treat. I want to do things at home but none of them seem to make the problem  get that much better,I feel like I should be doing more but I don't know what.

Release therapy sounds sexual.

Kidding, but I tried a chiropractor and it helped temporarily. The biggest relief for my lower back pain (from scoliosis) came, believe it or not, after I changed my life around and started making healthy choices with diet, sleep, exercise, and alcohol consumption. More so, changing from a job where I stood on my feet all day helped a lot.

Nothing lasts forever.

i practice Kempo Karate and lift weights.

Certain things are worse than others for me, depending on the angle of the muscle, i can lift heavy weights repeatedly, but mouse and keyboard causes intense handpain after a while.

i just feel like for the most part my muscles in parts are too short, and misaligned and such.

ironically someone called me from a chiropractors office. normally i hate nuisance calls but i got a free appointment next tuesday. I will of course walk out if theres signs its not on the up and up, but hey, it solves the issue of "i just want to a see a chiropractor just once."

If you're near NYC my friend works exactly with that kind of thing.

Not even close to NYC, but i was sort of thinking of a specialist.

a Sensai at my dojo is a chiropractor and does the muscle stuff too.

I am hoping this chiropractic appointment will help things out a lot.
