Azures in Cali?
    #1319484 - 02/19/03 01:59 PM (15 years, 3 months ago)

Do azures grow in California? Where I live, it can get up to 115 F in the summer. I'm wondering if one started and outdoor bed in spring if he'd ever see fruits from it. Can these guys be fruited indoors after, say, a two month incubation? Or, do they need to be done outdoors?

Also, what's the best tek for growing azures? Can someone post up a link? The FAQ azure page is down. http://www.shroomery.org/index/par/23364

Should the US relegalize drugs?

Sorry if i'm hijacking this thread, but could one grow azures in georgia? like lets say just south of atlanta? Could someone make an outdoor patch that might fruit in the fall?

BigJohnson, i've heard countless reports of azures being found in northern cali but i have yet to see one, any pics, any reliable evidence of any kind.
from this i assume that while they might grow as far south as the border, they haven't been found here yet.
unless you happen to have a greate deal of time, resuorces, skill and luck you will not likely be able to fruit them indoors.

as for a tek, go to the search engine of your preference and search for "P. azurescens cultivation" or similar.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it.
If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.
