Roadkill told me nobody knows for sure where they came from... some believe them to be a close relative of the cambodians... but regardless he said that the creepers have alot of characteristics that he hasn't seen in any other strain... so they're still worth getting!
I've only worked with the creepers so far, and I think they're simply awesome! Hightly reccommend them!
Peace

I'm still trying to figgure this out. I have grown out over 33 strains of Cubensis...and none have been simular YET.
Some said it was the Treasure Coast...no way! The TC is a very slow colonizer and doesn't have the same features of the cap.
Some say its a Cambodian Isolate. I'm not too sure that this is the case either.
Who really cares? It's a great strain....one of my favorite. Fast colonizer and fruiter....and a great trip! Thats what matters to me!!!

So are you saying that people shouldn't care about mycology beyond growing and tripping? :-P

No Are you a smart ass? Cause I don't come here to help people to be jacked around by jerks like you! I am a mycologist...and have been trying to id this strain for over a year now. We will probably never know what it really is...is the point.
Now run along and play in OTD!

My FOAF has grown multiple types on cakes so far. Creeper and Golden Teachers both look similar, both growing to around 4" in length and having thin, hollow stems and 1" or less caps. The materias romero my FOAF grew were short (2") yet had thick (3/4") stems that were beefy, as well as large (3") caps.
my aquaintance has never grown creeps on cakes, but casings, spawning with grain. He has grown matias romero on both. He finds Creepers kick MR's ass in casings... i mean destroys. That being said , MR did awesome on cakes. So maybe MR's are just dominant on cake form... I have heard this to be true. Have you cased creepers ? I Highly recommend it! Of course this is just based off of what an aquaintance has said! p.s. I will try and post my aquaintances casing picture with creepers. He tells me they are pinning now, with a good pinset!

They seem to be pretty damn fast that being said it makes me think Cambodian Isolate
But there not when u lay 1 beside a cambo they look diff.
I notcied once that when eq's that are a few days mature look like them more than the cambos do. I've always wondered if creepers are as harty as cambos to fuck up's. Thats the main reason I love cambodians. Hell i guess anything from that area of the world has to be tough

I know you were interested, so was I - so knowing that Roadkill was interested in such things, too, I was making a light joke because he wrote "who cares?" - then was jumped.
Good luck with your research, anyway.

Well, saying that they did that rediculously well on casing, what if afoaf were to double-end case them, with some dunk/shock...would there still be obsurd results? also to get such results...would you share what you cased them with? thanks.

Double end casing a cake will improve results. However, no they will not be "rediculous". Although the term casing implies laying a non nutriative layer over the substrate, I tend to use the term casing as " A larger, flat container, filled with a bulk/semi bulk substrate, with a non nutriative layer on top". This is perhaps bad form, but bad habits die hard . My aquaintance used about 4 quart jars filled with colonized rye berries in his casing. Cased with 60/40 verm coir. Gotta get a digi fast, he says the pins are completely overtaking the surface.
