 Something HORRIBLE just happened... UPDATED

so i just woke up to one of the worst things ever. i wake up its around 12pm and i get on myspace and i see all my friends posting stuff like "i love you jocelyn " and all this kinda stuff and im like wtf? it kinda got me worried cause this is my best friend that i talk to everything about that keeps me sane. so i call one of my best friends and they tell me she got shot in the face. threw the bottom of the left jaw threw the bottom of the right temple. shit just makes my stomach turn cause this is a 17 YEAR OLD GIRL. her life hasn't even started yet! no where near it. shes just a senior this year! like. it hurts so much to know something like this happened. im not trying to troll or nothing. i just feel so horrible. what do you do when something like this happens?

yeah that's fucked up to the max, sounds like a very serious injury, if you haven't already, go visit her in the hospital if you can. the article said the injury was non-life threatening, so hopefully she'll pull through, the damage will always be there but at least she'll be alive right?

thanks everyone. it says non life threatening but thats a lie. anytime u get shot in the brain its life threatening. and i cant go see her tonight. i am tommorrow though. you never know what will happen. and i said the same thing costal. kids and fucking guns get real. real quick.

First her and her family, support her to the fullest. Everything you speak with her about needs to be positive. Show her there are people out there that love her and that everything is going to be ok. Secondly you, bond in with her other friends in order to get through it, support one another. Think positive in your own life. Remember time will heal this. Whatever the outcome is life will go on. Bad things happen like this and you will learn have to learn to accept that.

poor girls life is probably never going to be the same

WOW, that's so fucked up... I'm sorry to hear that.. I really hope she pulls through without any major trauma, and that her and her family get through it. Definitely update us on how she's doing.

UPDATE
"she got the tubes put in her brain for the swelling and shes in a resting room right now. she just got out of surgery. they cant say for sure if she will be ok or not. they cut a piece of her skull out because of the swelling and a piece of her nose bone went into her brain. they want to watch her for the next week or so cause if her brain swells it would kill her. she should be ok though"
thats the update i got. so hoping for the best

damn that blows. Best wishes, hopefully no brain damage either that would pretty much ruin life imo. This shooting was accidental? That's just terrible, when I was 15 my friend accidentally shot and killed one of his friends, terrible shit.
