Well i hope it will cause hallucinations but will it make me sick also? Do this look normal or do you think it's mold from still being moist inside?

Although I've never seen that, I doubt it's mold. It wouldn't be fibrous.
If you dried them to 'cracker dry' from fresh, and they are still dry, then I doubt the fibrous substance occurred after drying. It would have occurred during mushroom growth in which case I would think it's fine.
Maybe a TC will weigh in but I'm guessing it's OK.

when you pulled it out of the dehydrator, was it cracker dry?
why did you go from the dehydrator to damprid btw? for storage?

Thanks everyone! I got paranoid because i just gave some buddies a big bag and was worried i might have made them sick. hahaha. i would have never heard the end.
They sure seemed cracker dry and I've never had a problem before but i never noticed this before.
I went to damp rid after, just to make sure.
Thanks again!

oh not hardly. I've had quite a few from this batch but it was right after they were dried and i definitely didn't notice any white fibers. I was worried maybe some still had moisture inside the stem and some kind of mold grew since then.
