casing possibly to dry?
    #1314570 - 02/17/03 04:20 PM (15 years, 4 months ago)

I havent seen this happen before, my friends alligators casings pinned very uniformly and then just halted for about 5 days. my thoughts were that the humidity may have been to high or air exchange to low because he duct tapped the dome to the base of his fruiting chamber. I guess what he wants to know is can stalled pins still fully grow? They dont look like they were aborted just stunted. Another possiblity was the casing was to dry. But right before the pins poped he noticed it was to dry and misted then they poped up and now stalled. I would give him some advise but Im not quite sure what is going wrong. all help is greatly appreciated.

aborting fruits most likely sourcec would be lack of air exchange. at least imho.

Prohibition will work great injury to the cause of temperance. It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation, and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A Prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded.
