Waiting after colonization

should I wait for a while after my cake is 100% colonized or should i just go with it as soon as i think.. Has anyone just went right of the back with sucess?

I always felt it was better to let cakes go an extra few days to a week after they looked to be 100% colonized to make sure that all the thin spots had extra time to fill in.

Waiting is never too much of an issue. My friend has waited 2-3 days after 100% colonization and has been fine.

However, jars that are left to incubate for a longer period of time usually have a stronger/healthier mycelial network.
