If you can't find the materials in your area. Have you tried a nursery or garden supply place for garden gypsum? Another thought is to post in the market place and see if you can trade future prints for someone to send you some broken up drywall or gardening gypsum. :2cents:

i read a tek once, can't find it now, and they just added the plaster of paris to the mix. When they added water to make it field capacity it activated the gypsum and after the jars cooled the plaster had set thus making gypsum inside the jars.

I could be way off though...
