Black Metal, much muchness. After Xasthur, I doubt I'll ever add any new black metal bands to my collection... these lyrics are the dumb.

Acid Bath is actually what got me interested in psychedelics. also note that their two albums are pretty different from each other and both masterpieces in their own distinct ways.
for black metal, I like to listen to Arcturus while tripping. Their first album is much more black metal than their others, but it is very melodic and really cool to listen to while tripping. but yeah, for metal that's truly psychedelic, listen to Acid Bath, especially while tripping. The lyrics are very cryptic and the only thing I could remotely compare it to would be Jim Morrison...but more cryptic

This metal music was created with the aid of mushrooms and opiates... I remember this album sounding amazing while tripping. For the past few years I've been working on getting to a place where I can be straight, sane and musically creative. Im there now, new stuff is emerging.
