cutting out credits to make file smaller

I downloaded the big lebowski. it is one of my favorite movies. The problem is that the file is too large to fit on a cd. How would I go about cutting out the credits to make the file smaller? I know it would depend on what software i have, but name it and I probably have it or could get it, so any help would be much appreciated.

i think i have the same rip (727 megs) ... it fits well on a 737 mb cd, and then you get the credits too, wich is nice... and yes, one of the funniest movies since the python era.

I'm pretty sure you could use Adobe Premiere to cut some frames off a file...or you could shoot for the moon and get Final Cut Pro. :grin:

I'm not that familiar with either of those programs myself though, so you'd be on your own.
