I am going to post in another forum about ID request for some possible a. pantherina I found, but want to ask if anyone has any idea about it's toxicity. I found about three pantherinas, and some I've heard about them say they're for experienced people only, and that in a recent Czech article, they're rated second in this country as deadly. Second to agaricus look-alikes, amanita phalloids. In this article it stated that the only people affected adversely are people with high blood pressure. I'd much prefer psilocybin shrooms, but havn't been able to find any. I duely apologize if this is the wrong place to ask about it, but figured it'd be the place, if any, to ask. Without further ado: Anyone able to confirm the edibility of amanita pantherina? I'm looking to expand my mind again, and this seems to be the fastest way to get there, but I don't want to go off and poison myself. I understand that region/soil content affect the mushrooms content, and that amanita muscaria would be the safer route, but havn't found any of them either. So, anyone able answer if it's safe/toxic/poisonous? After looking through similar threads, it seems no one here has had any experience with panther caps. Figured I'd give it a go and ask if anyone has tried them. I had pantherina tea the other day, but only took about 2/5 of a cap, dried and made into a tea. Was rather pleasant, giddy feeling came in waves. Lots of positive energy for so low of a dose, and it was lasting the whole night. No negative side effects, but that could be because it was so low a dose. Anyone ever experienced them? Sorry for the rambling=P

Ok, thanks for the quick reply. I havn't picked them yet, didn't have batteries for my camera to take a locale pic, and up-close pics for IDing. When I do pick them, i'll be sure to take a spore print, do a taste test to confirm a potato-like taste, and will approach with caution even if someone gives a thumbs-up. Low dose at first, dried, make a tea and wait it out. I correct my first post, I did experience light nausea for about a day, but nothing I won't be able to live with if it is pantherina. I could sure use an experience like the ones I've read on these forums. Just looked up panther caps instead of amanita pantherina, and seems like a couple people have had some good-ish trips on it. Free drugs are free drugs(i'm broke) but I'm not going to kill myself over it=D
