I hope so. I used to see him as just a fuckup and waste of life, but as I grow older I realize he's direct blood, and I actually care about what he's doing to himself. It's time for him to start doing something with himself or he's going to grow up to be that creepy guy that walks to the beer store every morning they open.
Don't get me wrong. I love drugs. Drugs are awesome and are a great addition to a social or solo environment, but when it's the focus of your life it's a problem and when it hinders your development as a human being it's time to put them on the back burner.

Some people just have addictive personalities. To them, putting drugs on the back burner, you might as well be asking them to climb Mt. Everest in a speedo...
-------------------- Same thing happened to me when I played Neil Armstrong in Moonshot. They found me in an alley in Burbank trying to re-enter the earth's atmosphere in an old refrigerator box.

We're not even sure he did it. So far all I know is he received stolen property and sold it to a pawn shop because he was the only one 18+ that could sign. When they sent the daily reports to the police station they called him the next day and called him into questioning where he undoubtedly fumbled the ball. As far as the gov't's concerned, he's just as guilty as taking it himself.

I just read all the links in the OP.
One of these days he'll wake up and realize he's been fucking up the past few years...Hopefully.
I can't believe you went this long without beating his ass. Kudos for that

I'd feel bad. I mean trust me, I'd love to beat a wigger's ass, but he's my bro and I need to set an example. Being violent toward him would just feed it and make him hate me/the world more. We both went through the same shit, there's no reason he can't follow my example, get a job, help out our struggling family, and get past it.

That dude just needs to find a girl that he really likes who looks down on his silly wigger antics.

I disagree. A woman should not control his life, no matter how erratic it may be. He needs to decide that for himself. Conformity isn't always the answer.

Yeah I know what you mean. No matter how fucked up my brother got (technically cousins, but we've been living together since we we're born) I'd never be able to beat on him.
He'll realize someday what he's done the past few years. Everyone grows up. Some just take longer than others.

rofl @ prep H.
I think blewmeanie was saying that him crushing over a girl might be the boost he needs to get his life on the road, rather than saying a woman should control him.
Sometimes we just need that push in the right direction, and although more controlled over fate, I think it's the best suggestion yet. Clearly, setting an example, is not yielding the results you are looking for.
