when making tea

how long should you boil? Everytime eye make it eye get worried about destroying the alkaloids since heat is supposed to be detrimental to shrooms. (dried before hand, of course)

dont boil. simmer for a while. keep it simmering with the mushies... prolly for 10-15 minutes, strain, simmer more, strain, simmer more, strain, drink everything, eat the mushies even if they look soggy and nasty, and trip balls. works fine for me. but definitely dont boil, or else you'll destroy your magikal alkaloids

i've always wondered, what would be the point of repeating simmering and strainig if you're going to eat the soggy mush anyway?

in my experience, a few minutes of simmering is enough for the active ingredients to get into your tea, but i always eat the mush anyway. even though its the nastiest shit ever.

DOn't simmer at all, just pour hot (not boiling) water over the powdered mushies, add some lemon juice and let it sit for 5 minutes then drink. There is absolutely no need to simmer.

exactly dude. STEEP peoples!

steep: to soak in a liquid at a temperature under the boiling point (as for softening, bleaching, or extracting an essence)

boil the water, have the shrooms in a different container, turn off burner, pour recently-boiling water into shroom-containing container, and mix around and let it sit for at least 10-15 minutes, then strain it out (or eat all the mush-scum along with it if you're all paranoid about not tripping hard enough.. i never do that anymore ) and drink away!

But yeah never put the shrooms IN the boiling water, it will burn up the magic

Grind the mushrooms in a coffee grinde, put powder in a pot or cup, pour boiling water over the powder, let sit for 2, 3 minutes, stir occasionally, strain and enjoy.

This is great my buddy wants some tea and I was wonder how to make it without destroying the good stuff.

Can I freeze the tea for later use or keep in a sealed container in the fridge?
