this may qualify as science, i wouldn't want to post my children in OTD
here we have some denizens of my 55 gal, river-style aquarium. as well as some of my entomological subjects. first, the firebelly toad, a sub-aquatic amphibian, then the wily anolis, native to florida and capable of changing from brown to green, this is a lizard people. next we have the emperor scorpion, Pandinus imeriator. i have 3 of these, 2 females and a male. then we have the giant milipede. this one has a nasty crack in the exo-skeliton just behind his head from when he fell, lets hope he pulls through, it wasnt a HUGE fall i dont see how it wouldnt be something that could happen in the wild. next the amplipydgi, or malaysian giant tailless whip-scorpion. i have two of these, one much bigger than the other, they both were missing legs when i bought them, one shed its skin and grew back his 2 missing legs, the other im still waiting on, he's missing one of his characteristic whips.

heres my cockatiel, Omie Tofo. she is a cuddler, she kisses and cuddles and whistles and shows off. her antics are truly adorable. loves kids and going out for feild trips to the mall, pet-store, anywhere at all. always stays on my shoulder.

this is frank, an indonesian Umbrella cockatoo. one of my friends bought him and he ate her parents house so he had to ge, we adopted him, we have had him for a day and hes a stubborn fella, in serious need of retraining. it may take years. and he will most likely outlive me.
we plan on also getting an african congo grey parrot from a hobbyest associate of ours....
funny story, i once called him up, and accidently called him "dave" he respronded "dave?....uhhhh. DAVES NOT HERE"
ive also have a HUGE goldfish in a 35 gal tank, and in my river style (thats half-land, half-water, lots of plants) ive got shrimp, tiger barbs, platties (with lots of young) dwarf toungless clawed frogs, a farroella catfish and others. lots of neeto things at my place. im also hoping to be obtaining axolotls soon and if i ever find one available. a vinnegaroon

Jesus man you let that thing crawl on you? That gives me the willies. Have you ever been stung by it? If so what was the pain like in comparison to a bumble bee. I would have to squash the bastard if it stung me. Thats cool though, I like any insect cept roaches and stinging foos. Peace in da middle east!

You should get a Giant Gambian Pouched Rat. I was gonna get one, but I'm too lazy.

never been stung, the birds bite sometimes tho. the anolis bite. but not hard. the whipscorpions will poke you with their pediphalps. that sorta tickles. the scorpions CAN sting, but only if molested. they dont even sting their prey, ive been pinched a few times tho, doesnt hurt. the cockatoo could take off a finger, but hes tame.

thats a tailess whipscorpion. i have 2 of them, their like spiders with elongated folding pincers instead of pediphalps, and the first set of legs are super long and fine, acting more like antenea. they are like the missing link between arachnids and insects

I'm sorry.. this is definately the 20 year old in me, but I found this hella funny when I read it...
Just thought I'd share with you my amuseful observation :P
-------------------- No one knows the worth of innocence till he knows it is gone forever, and that money can't buy it back. Not the saint, but the sinner that repenteth, is he to whom the full length and breadth, and height and depth, of life's meaning is revealed. Good and evil loose all objective meaning and are seen as equally necessary and contrasting elements in the masterpiece that is the universe.
