Thanks Anno and everyone for help in my last thread about download counts. Now what I need is a semi simple script I can use to password protect webpages. Except I want the password to be randomly picked and constantly changing. If anyone knows of a reliable yet easy to use script please reply. I've tried a few out there but seem to always get in a bind. Im begining to think Frontpage is not the greatest webpage builder. Thanks.

For simple password authentication, and if your host is running Apache (very likely) you can use a simple .htaccess script in the directory you are trying to protect. Your statement about ever-changing random passwords confuses me though, how are you going to know the password if it is random and ever changing?

By random and changing I mean no two people can sign in at the same time under the same password. I don't want to have to change the password manually for every new subscriber. I need it to deliver a new password for every new unique user. I really don't know that much about this but Im sure it can be done. Thanks Anno Ill check that link out and see if it has what I want. Maybe I just want too much
