Full Body Detox

Foods to avoid? I plan to drink only water for the next few weeks, plan to use as minimal amount of substances as possible (including caffeine and cigarettes) and I want to detox myself. I don't know how long it's been since I haven't touched a substance in about 2 weeks. That's the starting goal though.
What is a good diet to keep throughout to help AID in the detox, and not end up leaving a lot of bullshit behind?

'Detoxing' is a myth. If you take care of your body most of the time, it does a damn fine job of staying 'detoxed' on its own. Are you trying to get clean for a drug test?

Well I just know that pizza and Ramen every day is not a good way to keep my body in tip-top shape.
Despite my exercise routines, my bodily energy is converted from food.
If it's shitty McDonald's on the daily, then yeah my body could use a break from that sort of eating.
What are good foods to eat?

Good, clean foods include fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and the occasional serving of lean meat or fish. Gradually start adding more whole grains to your diet (switching all at once will give you the runs, most likely, from the fiber overload). Brown rice, whole grain pasta, whole grain bread, etc. Smoothies made from frozen bananas, strawberries, and organic dairy or soy milk. Start taking a good multi-vitamin and fish oil. Remove high fructose corn syrup from your diet in all forms and drink only tea, water, juices, etc. Cut back on red meat almost entirely - personally, I try to eat it only two or three times a month, max.
If it's processed, don't buy it. Learn to cook and get into the habit of making at least 75% of your meals yourself.
If you do all that, let me know how you feel in 6 weeks.

No it isn't. Where did you learn that? Detoxing while eating cooked foods is near impossible because you're always taking in more food and using energy to digest food instead of trying to process toxins, sure your body will take care of SOME, but a lot stays with you (slowly)
Fasting causes the body to clean inwards, it will start burning off things it doesn't need for energy (toxins is one, and you can have lbs of toxins)
Don't spout bullshit my friend

And where did you read that?
"Detoxing" is a hippie bullshit myth perpetuated by people wanting to sell you snake oil or a book. The human body has been detoxing itself pretty well for a few hundred thousand years. Many compounds in raw foods cannot be processed by the body (for example, most starch) and many foods are toxic before cooking.

I've detoxed a few times.. it really boosts my energy levels and helped with weight loss when I hit a plateau.
Eat nothing but whole unprocessed foods for about a week and you will notice a huge difference.
