Heat Variations

So here's my line of reasoning ... I don't think the insides of my jars are as hot as the air around them, so I kicked up the temp to around 95 by filling a gallor jar with hot water. I think that should kick my spores into colonization, as I can see no growth whatsoever since their innoculation 4 days ago. Could it be that when I shook the jars the growth is started from somewhere inside and must work it's way out? Or could it be the temp ... they started around 79 so i think the real temp inside was like 70 ... so ... i predict i'll see some growth here in the next few days ... keeping the temp at 89 to 95 .. anybody ever tried this?

why would you believe the inside of the jars stay cooler than the air around them? in reality, the mycellium will produce heat and the temp on the inside will be higher if anything.
