Yeah I saw this a while ago, now only if ron paul was involved.
If this works out it'll be absolutely amazing.
Marijuana Legalization that is I don't smoke anymore, because it is not legal yet...
You have to think though, that shows right there why their claims on the drug being addictive and ruining lives; isn't true.

Might as well make it legal now, because now the vast majority of people will be saying "Well, if <name of a talking head> on <"news" network> said it, it HAS to be true."
Aside from the judge, I HIGHLY doubt the people in those clips actually believe the words they're saying. If they were asked what they thought about marijuana legalization 1 or 2 years ago, we wouldn't have gotten the same answer, they would've spouted-off some conservative agenda-pushing mumbo-jumbo. This tells me how much momentum the pro-legalization movement has, so that's good news.
I know that sounds pretty cynical & misanthropic......but that's because I am.

*eats crow* It's been a number of years since I even thought about watching the news. I grew tired of the fear-mongering and ego-driven BS they produce. I've been less and more ever since.
...and not surprisingly, this crow tastes like chicken...lol

Nice.
I've heard that self described conservatives give to charity at twice the rate that self described liberals do. (As a percentage of their income). I mean, these numbers could be affected a little bit by various other variables, but it seems that liberals want to act like the givers, but in reality they only like to give away other people's money, while conservatives are more along the lines of we should all be responsible for what we choose to give our money to?
I mean, I am all for helping out the poor, but it upsets me that the government forces me to give them money so that they can do it, and they end up wasting a bunch of money in the process in an inefficient system. (Oh yea, they also like to help out corporations with my money).
"Capatalism: A Love Story" the movie by Micheal Moore, was really about corporatism, not capitalism. The problem is that once you pool all that money in one place in the hands of 400 or so people then the lobbyists are going to swoop in and start swooning. Think about how much money is at stake, and then you might realize why there is so much corruption. Bribery is common place. Corporations are so powerful BECAUSE the government is big.
I'm a libertarian, not a conservative. I think the majority of the politicians got it wrong, but it seems as if BOTH sides are starting to get it right when it comes to marijuana. And that is a good thing!
I feel like conservatives AND liberals are to stuck in a big HATE FEST to realize they have things in common, or to realize there own faults.

dick cheney has given up the bulk of his annual income to charity, they dont believe in a welfare state but that doesnt mean they dont believe in assisting the less fortunate, they just dont believe it should be funded through public funds, you may not be surprised to learn that billions are sent by government to various charities and organizations where it's consumed in large by the twats running them

The Federal government doesn't give a fuck what the constitution says about how much power they have and how much power the states have. There just like: "hey, we are bigger, what we say goes and it doesn't really matter what an individual state wants."
The courts are federal courts, which somehow trump what a state court says even in its own state. The decision they made that said the feds can regulate agriculture even if it doesn't leave the state because it still affects the other states by choosing it to stay inside the state (I don't remember the name of that court case) is complete and utter bullshit, and everyone knows it. I don't even know how the judges could give that explanation with a straight face.
