Question about my progress (w/ pics)

So my understanding thus far (this is my first attempt at cultivating) is that when you use a multispore syringe injection, you end up with a combination of two types of mycelium: the "Fuzzy" type and the ropey strand-like type (aka rhizomorphic)
It appears to me as though all of my jars ONLY have rhizomorphic mycelium... I could be wrong in my analysis so here are some photos...

11 of the 12 jars that I inoculated look almost identical to the ones in these pictures. Does the fact that I'm only seeing this ropey fiber like mycelia indicate that my spore syringe contained a good strain and will likely fruit well?? I sure hope so
p.s. the strain is burma. Also these jars were innoc'd on saturday the 7th and showed first signs of germination last wednesday. So based on these pictures, for 6 days of mycelial growth, how am I lookin? and approx how much longer would ya say I could expect full colonization??
Every time I look at my jars and I notice new growth I get all giddy like a little school girl LOL!! I cannot wait until my first harvest!

Your looking good, multi-spore is more like an inoculation with multiple spore or sub-species so it may vary from shroom to shroom. I'm not sure if your growth indicates what the future holds but if all of your jars are looking like that your looking good. I'm figuring around 10 days till your dudes are finished. good luck!

you cannot decipher if a pf jar will fruit well by looking at the mycelium.
also your jars might begin to stall because you did not use the widemouth half pints (if that is even a half-pint)
the widemouth provides better GE
the tall half-pints do not.

That looks like a widemouth half-pint to me. IME the size of jar doesn't really matter, as long as its widemouth...and the reason people use widemouth jars for cakes is because its a hell of a lot easier to get the cake out in one piece once the cake is fully colonized, not because widemouth lids provide better GE.
OP, looks good, if its your first grow I would set them where you cant see them for two or three weeks, or else you'll be checking them a million times a day lol

Hmmm ok. Yes they are half-pints... Is this your own experience? Cuz every tek I've read or video I've watched just said to use half pint jars, no mention of having to use widemouths. Besides which, as far as gas exchange is concerned I just have the jars screwed on really loosely with micropore tape over the innoc points. To my understanding this is sufficient for GE?

remove the tape, its not needed, the vermiculite barrier will keep any nasties out of the jar. And tighten the lids up, you only want them loose when you sterilize the jars. Then tighten them up.
Those jars are fine, used them hundreds of times, they do seem to colonize a little slower than the short 1/2 pint jars.

You are already using widemouths, the top of the jar where the lid screws on is not tapered inwards at all correct? The micropore tape isn't necessary, but wont harm anything if its left on. tighten up your lids.

Haha yeah I keep em in the incubator in my closet, away from light. Generally try to just look at em once a day but its really temping to just take em out and stare at em lol

Keeping jars out of the light is dated info. Put them on a shelf with ambient light available. You don't have to put a light near them or anything, but keeping them in the dark isn't beneficial and may actually be detrimental.

No, it's not detrimental. It makes no difference, that's all. Light is not a factor during colonization.
