10psi Pressure Cooker

How long should I pressure cook millet for in a 4qt. mirro? How long should I cook rye berries? Apparently it will cook at 10psi, but couldn't I put a pressure regulator weight that is 15psi on it?

Not sure if it is Boyle's Law or pv=nrt ... pressure/temp. is proportional, so 15/10 = 1.5. Multiply your time by that and you will be cool. 60(1.5) = 90 minutes.

AFOAF has a 4qt mirro and cooks millet for 80 minutes with great results.

>... pressure/temp. is proportional

Not in the case of the boiling point.
Water boils at 212?F at the athmospheric pressure (=15 PSI). and 250?F at 15 psi over the atmospheric pressure(=30 PSI).
15 PSI => 212?F
30 PSI => 250?F

How is this proportional?
