Searching a handicapped man.
    #13057818 - 08/16/10 01:53 AM (13 years, 9 months ago)

We started thinking after being at shows at open events.........people in wheel chairs are allowed to do basically whatever they want.  They get front row seating, they can't stand up so how can you search em, no one ever does anything but smile sympathetically.

I know it's evil in the long run, but for sneaking whiskey, drugs, and whatever else into a show/concert/sporting event, would getting a wheel chair and some knee braces be a bad idea?

I think I already saw this happen in a episode of Degrassi High - they used the girl in the wheel chair to help them shop lift - They ended up getting caught.

I learned all my morals from Degrassi - So I would say proceed with caution.

However if the dogs do stop you, you can always say the drugs are for you back pain:laugh2:

I have found that strapping a bottle to your inner thy works well for festivals...

I'm talking like heavy amounts of drugs crotched and what not by a man whoe supposedly can't walk.  I doubt during a mass event there's too many questions being asked over the legitamacy of your legs.

You also always have a chair to sit in if you get tired

Seems like a fine idea to me.

People get nervous and uncomfortable around folks with obvious and unusual physical infirmities- I doubt many folks would search or search well.

Its interesting that folks would probably think it disrespectful and brash to be patting the handicapped guy's paralyzed legs down, while somehow its ok for the rest of the population.

Also, why would it be "evil" in the longrun, assuming you aren't taking seats or parking from those with legitimate handicaps. Might want to do some homework first, make it look as legitimate as possible.

I just assumed evil over that ol sayin " don't make fun of those with disabilities or you'll end up with one" .  But I guess that's just silly.  Seems to me you'd have to take the parking areas that were handicapped to make it look legit, but pushing yourself through crowds would be a bit much.

I was thinking about how there's typically different parking for handicapped, and typically different security.  At festivals they park you in different areas, and at searches they just check your gear.  I have a handicapped tag for my car, but that paticular person wouldnt be in the car, would that be an issue?
