Why don't you try searching first before you ask questions that can be found in 128,623 spots on this website. This is like asking where you can find information about personal computers on the internet.

could you provide sources/links where you've "heard" they take forever to colonize as I've read that they have to be watched closely in a casing because they are notorius for overlay. quick overlay is not typical of something that colonizes slowly.

oh and since i hate it when someone asks for sources/documentation/proof, here is what I've read, there's more, that's just a taste.

PR's were like the hot shit a year ago, mebbe people dont like them anymore?

IF you did a search, you would have came up with a lot of findings.

Well, PRs are supposed to be very very quick colonizers. They are hard to fruit WELL because of the ease of overlaying the casing. They are noted for their high potency however.

puertos colonize very quickly and have very strong, rizomorphic mycelium. They do tend to overlay, however, and the time between casing and fruiting is longer than with most species.

Again, if you would of searched instead of asking questions that have been answered 100,000 times you would of found your answers.. without taking up space on the Shroomery. I'm not an ass, this is just unecessary.

Well if they are really agressive colonizers, you just have to put them into the fruiting chamber faster than you would normally. At the first sign of growth, or no growth at all coming up through the casing, place in lowered temperatures and fresh air.

AFOAF told me that the Puerto Rican's are very fast at colonizing.
They are known for overlaying the casing layer...more so than other strains.
The casing layer should not be neglected it should be watched like a hawk...in fact some don't let it colonize the casing layer much at all.
They do have high potency.

Snowboarder ... Wasted? I'm dreadfully apolgetic. Starving children in Uzbekistan would die to use that bit of bandwidth I mongered!

So after full colonization ... case and stick immediately into grow chamber?
