Any Jedi out there? help me?
    #13045509 - 08/13/10 09:36 AM (14 years, 5 months ago)

If someone had 12 full pint jars colonizing, and planned to add 4 per 5 lbs. of pre-pasteurized horse dung, how would they go about preparing them for mixing? Do you moisten the dung? Would it already be moist?

Would they spread the jar casing spawn on top of the dung or gently mix it together? How many inches deep would be ideal?

Bless me with wisdom

I've believe i've been misinformed!

I would crumble and mix for a 4" thick substrate.

I'm a mixer. Mix the contents of your colonized spawn jars into bulk substrate. (Hydrate and pasteurize if needed, but you don't.)

You make it all possible. Doesn't it feel good?
