liquid culture advantages over multispore?

Besides the completely obvious advantage of multiplying the amount of inoculate one has on hand are there any other advantages to LC over MS?
I get subtle hints from reading around that LC will colonize spawn faster and help yields go up. Is this necessarily true?

Generally colonizes faster than spores, you don't need to wait for germination. No other real advantages other than convenience.
Note your terminology is wrong- MS refers to genetics, you may have LC that is MS or an isolate.

so multispore (MS?) is not referring to a syringe with spores in it? or it can also refer to the method a LC was created?

Multispore is a term used any time a large number of spores are placed in a medium to germinate, be it agar, LC, grain, or cake. If you isolate a strain and use it to create LC then when you inoc substrate you don't have to wait for germination, plus you could have more consistent fruiting.

"Multi spore" as we use it refers to genetics. Some people will misuse the term, you may have sen it used that way.
LC can be multispore, or it can be an isolate, which is one single genetic organism. Or a tissue clone, which is somewhere in between.
Shooting spores always = MS, LC often but not necessarily is MS.
(Regular LC is also just one of a range of liquid inoculant techniques, there's grain LC, agar slurry, and some others.)
