Yes, and yes.

So, whats the deal with all these questions?  Is there some philosophical theme you are grappling with, or are you simply interested in atomic physics?

"And although it is acknowledged that alternative sets of fundamental concepts might be used as a basis for physics, it is assumed that concepts such as momentum, force, and energy can be unequivocally expressed as derivatives of time, displacement and mass."

This quote really intrigued me, I'm not a highly educated mathematician, so I have to rely on my understanding of a concept rather than the mathematical proof. I am studying for a degree in engineering, so my maths is improving all the time ( I only learned what a square radian was a few months ago ).

The idea behind my questions is this, acceleration / movement through space results in a slowing of time, relative to someone moving at a slower rate. Every day we move through space at fantastic speed as we rotate with the earth, the earth orbits the sun, our solar system travels the milky way and the milky way moves about the universe. Gravity also has this effect, as it is essentially an acceleration, and is it true that gravity is strongest at a point further away, rather than up close ? Is all this acceleration / movement the thing that is creating time ? I think without the presence of gravity in the universe and if we removed ourselves from all movement, then time would pass in an instant, or may not even exist (in the way we perceive it). I am also interested in how we achieve this "stilling" (removing ourselves from all movement), if anti-gravity technology was a reality we could negate gravity and at the same time, movement. Since anti-gravity isn't a reality ( for now ), I am looking for other ways to achieve this deceleration, and the resulting acceleration of time.

My reasoning led me think that by slowing the rate at which an electron appears around its orbital, this effect could be achieved. The cold plasma question was unrelated.
