Are these ready for harvest I heard when the veil breaks open its time to harvest and that if spores get on your cakes that stops them from pinning causes there are spores everywhere. here are some pics even liek some baby ones got the veils broken. the black in the pics is the spores

Good job man!! If the veils broken you can pick them, or wait a bit longer, but your not going to gain much by waiting any longer. Small fruits could be due to low water content of your cakes. Did you roll them in vermiculite? Could also just be genetics.

you will get better results with that same misting schedule...and rolling the cakes in verm after birth. also it has been said by alot of TC's here that a fish tank bubbler inside a SGFC is bad and even has undesireable effects...I do it too...works great!

Have you ever watched time lapse videos of mushrooms growing - really cool. From what I've seen it seems they grow just a little bit more after the veil breaks, but like you mentioned spores all over the FC are undesirable. I've read that the most sanitary way to make a print is to pick them just before the veil breaks, clean the cap and make prints in a glove box but it seems to me that it would be better to wait till it opens (to give the spores a chance to mature). Besides, I believe mature, flattened caps give the best prints. Look into those videos...

if thats a SGFC then get rid of that cup of water and the air stone.
that is why you are getting such small mushrooms. lack of FAE
the SGFC works off of a slight pressure gradient due to temperature differences.
you putting that air stone in there keeps the whole thing slightly higher pressure. so air is only exiting. your only source of FAE is your air stone. and i would be willing to bet your pump is not very big.
just let the SGFC be an SGFC. they get plenty of FAE on their own.
