Successful Harvest 1st Flush (Huatla strain) PICS

Here's some pictures of how things are going,

As you can see, most of them are breaking but for some reason they are all still really small? They're all like 2-3 inches tall, is it just the strain or is something going wrong? In the past I've only grown B+, never tried Huatla before (it came as a free sample).
I'm pretty sure now is the time to pick since the veils broke over night. Is it best to pick everything at once or just the big guys?
I know your suppose to only pull spoiled mushrooms and full sized ones (and leave the aborts to grow in the second flush). In my case should I pull everything but a few that are only an inch tall?
I'm hoping on harvesting ASAP, any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

Harvested about twenty minutes ago, came out to 279g wet so hopefully it'll be about an o dried. Shrooms were actually a lot taller then I thought they were. Very happy with the results and hopefully I'll have luck with the 2nd and third flush.

It happens...

...chalk it up to genetics.
Pick them just as the veils brake, unless of course you want to make prints, in which case leave them till the caps are fully opened.
The aborts will be dark (black) and wont grow so pick them. Pins you want to keep fro the next flush.

Humidity always stays around 95%, I only mist whenever humidity drops in order to bring it back up (the only reason humidity was at 85% in the first couple pictures was because I had the lid open for a while, since then I misted once and the humidity is back at 95%)
Here are some other pictures I just took with a ruler in the tub so you can get a feel for just how short they are. Its weird because they look like they are ready to pick but they are still really short.

So it's alright to pick as they open? I thought you had to pick the flush all at once in order for the next flush to grow?
As of now, I can't spot a single abort thats black, just a pin or two that hasn't started growing. Is my best bet to just pick everything thats taller than an inch so that the 2nd flush starts growing?

Judging by your pics the veils have broke on most of them so I'd go ahead and pick them.

alright sounds good, i'll be harvesting later today.
just to clarify, its best to pick everything at once so that the 2nd flush can develop right?
or can I just pick the ones that are fully developed? (by tomorrow night i'm guessing the ones that arent fully developed will be, so it won't be like I am picking over a weeks time span, just a day)

I'd pick the ones that are ready and let the others finish, its just whatever you wanna do. Unless you wanna go ahead and eat them. Its your world.

Finally just decided to harvest, very happy with my results.
However, harvesting really messed up my substrate, there are countless holes and a lot of ripping. A couple of the holes are so deep that you can see the aluminum foil tray at the bottom. Also there is a lot of black on the top layer of the substrate, I'm assuming that its just spores since I waited so long to pull (They should be taken care of when I dunk right)?
What do you think the best thing to do is to get ready for another flush? Will dunking the entire tray for 12 hours do the trick?
I never used a casing layer so I don't really have anything to put into the holes to repair them.
Here are some pictures of whats going on

Nice pics.

From fruiting to pins was a good two weeks but thats just because myc wasn't 100% colonized, it was about 70% done when I started fruiting.
From pins to harvest was about 4 days
