First off DO NOT use manure if it is not leeched, it should be dry and have no offensive smells.
Also the manure should be broken up well and mixed with what ever else is in your bulk sub, then brought to field capacity and then pasteurize it

its not very fresh, it dont smell like horse shit, its just somewhat wet deep inside. im sifting through the best i can and not using it.
what is leeched poo? just dry throught?
whats the point of bringing to field capacity if its going to get submerged in water to pasturize?

leeched manure means it has had time in the field to be rained on and dried a few times.
Manure should not be pastuerized by submerging it in hot water, Its best to load it into jars or bags and pasteurize it in a big pot

It should have no green colors and should be fully dry, also should have no offensive smells either. That's how you know its good to be used

thx again shea, you always seem to be the first (and only this time) response to my questions. ill make sure to get the fully dry stuff broke up and get the semi dry to a friends house or something to finish.

No don't use a oven. Use a pot on a stove top

It rains here all the time so Its rare that I get to pick dry poo. I pick the driest i can find then work to the moister stuff that dont stink at all. Then I lay it out hoping it will dray and cover if back up when it rains. Did that once now i got over 100 liters of nice dry crumbly manure.

Don't submerge it in water? Why not . I've been using the pillow case method . And no problems . Just wondering ... Wats the difference. You have the same out come. And by bags I'm assuming u mean oven bag or something similar

Yeah, I've had great success with the pillowcase method. People just do things differently. Get down the theory first and then experiment.
