ok so my one cake had a couple pins on it randomly one day . i birthed it along with the other ones who looked very culinized to the best it could get .
i birthed them . dunked them in water and submerged them for 24 hours . and then rolled them in vermiculite. of course the one with the pins on it had some on there. but still its been a week and nothing out of the others ? I heard that putting them out in the sunlight makes the pin like no other. should I do that ? will it hurt it . and yes i mist and fan a few times a day . and the container stays almost at full humidity . any ideas

I dont' understand very well your first sentence but I guess you simply birthed your cakes too early. Did you wait one week after full colonization? There is nothing you should worry about though. Just keep waiting. (your pic is way too small. Upload your pics here). GL

Just give it time. I just got pins on mine after 12 days of being in the fc. I know for sure it was because i didnt wait until it was 100% colonized. Just give it time and lots of fresh air.

Please post a bigger picture and load it though the Shroomery.
Its normal for the cake that had pins on it to of course have mature mushrooms first. Cakes should be left to consolidate 1 week + after they reach what appears to be 100% colonization.
Its also normal epically with MS to have different cakes pin sooner or later then others.
Tell me more about the condotions you are giving them.

Did you dunk the cakes? I've already told you, just wait a few more days.Your conditions are correct. (According to RR a few minutes of sunlight exposure every day is a great pinning trigger). GL
