Trich in 12 hours!? Is verm ever green?

I got my oyster syringe on Thursday evening and used it to inoculate a sawdust block and a bunch of pf jars this afternoon. I PC'd the jars at 10psi for about an hour and a half and then let them cool slowly in the pot for quite a few more hours. I inoculated them in a glovebox like what I saw in RR's videos, flame sterilized the needle between jars, ect. Pretty much exactly followed the MMGG tek except for using myc instead of spores and using the PC.
I have a pretty nifty lighted magnifying thingy and was using it to look through the glass of one of the jars. I saw some slight bits of fuzziness at a couple of the inoculation sites; they look like myc. At the other site I saw a little spot of greenish something. It's not pressed against the glass so I can't see it too well. It looks kind of like a piece of dark green seaglass. There are a couple other areas quite far from the inoculation sites that also have sea-glass looking things.
I put the jar in a separate room from the other jars and closed the door.
Would trich grow this fast? It's only been about 12 hours, maybe less. Does vermiculite ever have a greenish tint?

pictures can help diagnose and will tell where and what is wrong .
trich is pretty fast and easy to spot when green. if you are not sure what it is.. wait a little for it to reveal to you. i have never watch verm turn green.. only when contaminated .

It would be really hard to get a photo of it. It's in a jar at an angle and the picture would be that plus a magnifier, so pretty much all you'd get is a blurry mess. I figure I'll look at it tomorrow and see what's going on then.

Verm is mineral and in bright light, parts of it can look green. Trich won't germinate, grow and then sporulate in 12 hours. Take some plain verm out of the bag and put it in bright light. You'll see the green sparkles. RR

Thanks. I checked it again just now and the green parts are exactly the same as yesterday so I'm pretty happy about that. The tiny white strings are all longer at the inoculation spots in that jar. I'm going to do some reading to see if the warmer temperature in that room might have anything to do with it and maybe put the rest of the jars in there too if it does.

Just to be safe, you might get a pressure cooker that goes up to 15 psi. I've heard contamination is still possible at 10 although I'm not sure how likely. I always try to be on the safe side though.

Yeah, I'm going to see if I can take this thing back to the store. The damn jiggling thing makes this high pitched screeching noise that is just terrible. I think it might actually be broken or something because I can't imagine a company trying to sell something that makes that sound on purpose.
I don't see any new green stuff in any of the jars, just the shiny vermiculite sparkle, so I'm crossing my fingers that it stays that way.
