concerned about my fruit

so i have one good size mushroom off a cake and quite a few pins. but i have some concerns. the fruit is thin at the base and thicker as it goes out. its drooping quite a lot. and around the cap its turned blue. and the viel is breaking wat seem a bit too early. i did handle it a litte a day or two ago. may account for the bruising (i tested for mold spores with a sterile q-tip). but im worried about the veil and the weight of the mushroom itself. can someone help ease my worries?

The old q-tip check for mold has found to really not work. I'd say your probably worrying to much pictures would really help though. Can't always expect amazing results can take time to really learn exactly what to do in your environment. Possible cause of the blueing could be drying out but pics would be needed to confirm this.
If I was you I would try cloning one of the mushrooms or pins. In my opinion that'd be the easiest way to get a clean culture going.

well that really sucks then. cuz i handled it quite a bit. and its blue all over the side. im pretty sure its bruising cuz its pretty much every where i touched. but im still worried. how long does it take for bruising to heal? will it deminish pinning in bruised areas?

the cakes im currently fruiting are doing similar things
the fruits themselves are incredibly dense once i dry them, like i squeeze them to see if theyre cracker dry and theyre as hard as a fucking rock
one way or the other you should have reasonable results. also bruising doesnt really "heal," it's oxidized psilocybin, so it's going to be visible until either the mycelium grows back over it, or it is rinsed away after a dunk.

ever so curious about psilocybe baeocystis. do please pm me if you can facilitate some hands on learning!

ok. so i made mushroom water out of it. but it hasnt shown any signs of growth. im using 1/2 pint jars. a mix of groung brown rice, coffee, verm, and cal co. its been a few days. i thought it was supposed to work really fast. but the tek i saw he was using whole rice and he fluffed it for more air pockets. so is it because i im using a more compact sub? or did i do something wrong? im afraid i didnt let it cool loong enough. it was in front of a fan for a few hrs.
