Do you guys have any idea what the yield would be like for those two cakes?  That big, long ass shroom on the left cake is about 6-7" long.

Yeah, I was figuring around 0.5 to 0.75 pounds.  :crazy2: 

I have never gotten a mushroom that massive off of one cake.  You can definitely tell that the cake put most of its effort into that pin.  There are a few medium sized ones on the back side of the cake that were not photographed.

In the second picture you can see 3 Costa Rican cakes.  They have been subjected to the exact same fruiting conditions, and they have produced nothing -not a single pin.  The other Ecuador cake in the bottom left as lots of pins coming in. 

We will see.  The veils are tearing!  Oh my! :raveface:
