 Just found a bag of shrooms! (cubensis?)

Ok ummmmm wow.
I have been out hunting in this heat with no luck finding actives and so this morning I walk outside and right there on the sidewalk in front of my house is a bag of shrooms. I thought it was a joke or a trap. I stopped, glanced around and looked up and down the street thinking the cops were just waiting for someone to pick it up so they could bust them. I went inside and came back even I was so sure it was a trap or a joke. So I scooped it up and now I have a bag of what looks like cubes.
Is this the universe telling me "hey man, don't give up here is some incentive to keep hunting"? I've never found shrooms before and it's just very coincidental that I find them now when it's sitting in the forefront of my mind. Crazy.
   
Alright with all that said here they are. It's not amazing it looks like mostly stems and baby caps. Now the bag was open and there are some ants crawling around in there. So here is the real question(s). Can anyone identify these to make certain? And would you eat a bag of shrooms you found on the sidewalk? I'm still just blown away at finding these practically on my doorstep.
Oh if they're not cubes then they were definitely rolling around in shit cos they stink. If you would eat them what is the best way to clean them up some?

They look like dried cubes. Maybe they stink because they haven't been properly dried all the way and started to rot. Where (state) were they found? I am asking because they don't really look cultivated.

Can you take a picture of them lined up so we can see each one? More close up the better.
They look pretty legit, but since you didn't pick them you can't tell. For all you know they're just poisonous look- a- likes.
You can "clean" then with a toothbtush- like scrubbe (thin, but sharp bristles, and a trace amount of water), wand wash the toothbrush between each, remembering to keep it almost completely dry.
But the lineup shot is more important for now

Yeah, I am quite sure they are as well, but he said they stink. If I was to ingest them I'd make a tea boiling them at low heat for about an hour and then strain out the bits. No need to eat mushrooms that have partly started to rot.

North Georgia. Yes the largest cluster looks like it is rotting. It's blackened which is a shame. Should I just toss the blackened ones? I'll have more pictures in a few minutes of them spread out.

I'd eat them 
I ate so many mushrooms in the last few days that a bit of rotten ones won't do much damage to my stomach.

Separate the smelly black ones from the healthy looking ones. I would not eat them, but rather make a tea like I suggested earlier.
[EDIT] to be honest, none of them really look rotten. If you open a bag of dried cubes it will smell like old feet. That's normal.

I see plenty of cubes but there are a bunch that are just too dark to really tell what they are in these pictures. Take some pictures with them each side by side, lined up. To be safe I would only eat the ones that I could positively tell were cubes. After all, you did just find them. Be safe...Remember there's Ice T and Mr. T but there's no T like safeTy.

Ok here I separated them out a little bit. I don't have a scale so as far as eyeballs go what would you guess as weight? 1/16th?
There are other smaller bits but these pretty much define what was in the bag.
Here is the suspect cluster. They're all still joined to whatever substrate they grew out of. It's the biggest bunch out of all of it.
I'll take your advice German Kahuna and make some tea with all of it. Low boil for an hour in a saucepan with a couple bags of earl gray with 2 cups water I gather?
