whats the best legal ethnogen?

whats the best leagal ethnogen to take to just relaz and calm down? on some sites there are pages and pages and pages.. of legal ethnogens. which ones are the best?

for calming effects.......i would say kava kava, valerian, hops and hops resin(pollen), damn i have a whole list but my brain just took a fart.....ill be back and post some more :smile:

What dose of valerian would you take to feel the calming effects. Does it cause stomach problems?

Not too sure Ripple.......if your taking store bought capsules that is.

But first I want to clarify....im not sure what the store bought stuff is.....when one says valerian root that could be American Valerian(ladys slipper..Cypripedium caceolus)or they could mean English Valerian(Valeriana officinalis)....in both cases the roots/rhizomes are used.....

in my opinion the ladys slipper is much stronger but may be toxic(but not deadly) at large doses(i dont know for sure).....both do work though......for the Cypripedium I take about 3 tablespoons and make a tea with it(add flavorings...as its bitter)......for the Valeriana I would use five or six tablespoons..........(both measurements of ground dry root of course)

but both(at above doses) do produce nice yet mild relaxation.....as i said though the ladys slipper seems to be more potent and at a high dose(5 tablespoons) straight up put me to sleep.....
Thats what i recall about them anywho....been a while though
I will look into this more though(this really interests me and as of yet i have only dabled with them) and when i get more roots(time:smirk:) to experiment with i will keep better records and let you guys know what i figure out :smile:

Asarone, the main ingredient in sweet flag root(calamus root) is turned into TMA-2 in the body. TMA-2 is around 10 times the potency of mescaline.

Morning Glory/ H.B. Woodrose seeds are great.

Ayahuaska can be obtained pretty easily at low prices(syrian rue, mimosa hostillis root bark or other dmt containing plants) This is more than a cheap thrill, compairable to mushrooms.

Nutmeg is nice, but start low or you will surely get a bad impression.

These are just a few good ones, there are plenty more.

isent Ayahuaska also called the "dream herb" that lets you dream lucidly......all i want is something that comparable to opium (nothing illegal) that would not give you that much of an upset somach or anything

I think that Ayahuaska should be called the ailen contact drink. :wink:
But its just DMT with an Maoi, its also quite tasty.

Please people, do NOT overdo Calamus (Acorus Calamus), I'd rather you don't use it at all! As a kid one of my first experiments was with storebought Calamus roots with the bark removed. (as it should) I made some tea thereof and drank the disgusting stuff.

A bit later my brother asked: "Do you like George Bush?", I pushed him aside and filled the sink with barf. (no: it wasn't GB, just some dude he knew back then)
Well: I was gung-ho to get my very first trip, lured by that TMA-2 story, so I drank the rest of the shit.

OMG... OMG.
The rest of the night I barft & puukt & ralpht every 5 to 10 minutes, first the food, then the bile, then I shot into survival mode. After each ralph I drank some water to HAVE SOMETHING TO EXPEL, because that makes barfing less painful when you have to do alot of it. Without blowing things out of proportion... 30 to 40 ralphing spasms that night seems about accurate.

Later I learned it was the irritating effect of the Asarones on the stomach wall that make me ralph over & over again, as I had effectively ODd on them.
No drug has EVER made my THAT SICK than that fucking "organic" Calamus. If I later smelled Calamus (like in herbal booze) my stomach shot in a cramp.
This lasted over 10 years after that night.

Did I hallucinate? Not a single image. The only pattern I saw was the correlation between ingesting Calamus tea and ralphing for hours on end.
I'd rather smilingly drink a glass of piss than repeat that night.
Since the taste of Valerian tea comes closest to that, I'll drink a cup of it right now!
I Love Valerian Root tea! Three teaspoons of it in hot, not boiling, water with some sugar or sweetener, take 10 minutes, drink, wait 15 more and you really cease to care how few kbps your internet speed is down to.
(seriously: no real buzz but nice calming effect)

valerian tastes like dirty feet IMO so it may leave you nausious.
about the poppies, california poppies [[he orange ones with bananna shaped pods, for those not familiar with them] have calming effects, though i am not familar with any literature on the subject.
if you mean that you're just looking for a leagal substiture for opium, i don't think there's any such animal [thuogh that oppinion may just be a product of my love/hate relationship with opiates].
