A few pics; Opinions wanted

Hey all! My friend seems to be having some luck with his PE grow, but he's got a few questions about the following situations:
First up is this little fella. Right after it pinned, the cap started looking pretty sickly. Over the past few days it hasn't grown much at all and the cap is what it is. He picked it just to be on the safe side. Think it's safe? Is it just an abort?

Next up is this guy. Some sort of green/white film forming on the cap. Nothing else in the terrarium looks like it, or so I'm told. What do you think?

Then there's this. Any idea what's causing the chiseled look of the stalk/stem? Does it look safe?

This big one's cap is starting to flip upward even though no spores are noticeable. Is it time to pick, or should it wait a bit yet?

Finally, there's this little anomaly. Huge cap, scrawny little stalk. Not really a concern at this point, just curious as to what might be going on with it.

Gas exchange needs to be increased. possibly
EDIT: No personal experience with PE.

1) tasty 2) remove from fc, discard contaminated cap 3) too dry 4) too dry 5) mutant abort, good snacking, maybe good cloning.
That's how I call it.

Thanks, Doc T.
The only things I'm skeptical about are the two that you suggest might be too dry. Both of those cakes are comprised of cubes that are covered with the fuzzy mycelium that I so often read is attributed to *too much* humidity. So there seems to be a bit of a contradiction there to me....
But I'm certain you know more about this than I do, so I'm all ears for your response

You can have a too-dry cake in a too-humid environment. Did you dunk? And roll?

Oh, ok! Still trying to understand the science of this stuff.... And yes, I understand dunk and roll was implemented for all of these cakes.

Remember that all the water in the mushrooms- 90% of their harvest weight- has to come from within the cake. To get 6g of dry mushrooms in a flush uses 2 ounces of water, from a cake that was in an 8-oz jar. You'll see people adding more water to the cakes gently in some threads. But don't waterlog them. It's an art.

Thanks, again.
What about #2? Think you could chop off the cap and eat the stem or is it best to just throw the whole thing away? Also, is it possible that the green stuff on the cap is just bruising from when my friend tried scraping off the white film (which is how it started)?
Sorry for the deluge of questions. This is very interesting.
EDIT: Also, that cakes smells totally delicious, FYI.

#2, I'd remove everything funky and if that's the whole thing, then so be it. Like an apple with a bad spot, cut it off.
Agreed w/Grishnakh, contam would be my second guess if moisture is ok.

So a few of these don't look so hot. That weird greenish discoloration of the cap is on a lot of them and there's a sort of baggy 'sac' on the stalk just underneath the veils on most of them. Although they all smell delicious.
Any comments welcome and encouraged.
