4 week spore print okay to use?

So i had a healthy grow going. after the first harvest i put a cap on some tinfoil with a glass over it (put a matchbook under the rim for ventilation) inside my glove box. after the first harvest however, i had some complications in my life and stopped caring for my grow and neglected to tend to the mushrooms or collect the spore print for storage.
Well the cakes are now covered in what i believe is cobweb and are stinking up my basement so they gotta go. but i want to start my operation back up. is the spore print i let sit there for a month still good? even though i left the cap sitting on top of it?

I would say no. Of course can't say for sure you could get really really lucky but I highly doubt it.

Try it. I just finished trying out 5 different prints from 7 years ago and 2 of them have shown signs of growth. You might be surprised.

Throw all of that stuff out, preferably without opening anything up. Last thing you want is a shitload of cobweb spores in your grow room.

If the print was sealed in a bag I would say it would work but the reason I'm having doubts is because it's been sitting there for a month with a matchbox allowing air to come in odds are some of the cobweb floated in there eventually. Agar would certainly do the trick.

i just went down to bag the spore print and i geuss i was wrong. no matchbook. the glass was flush with the foil. the cap has dried up and is stuck to the print, but that shouldnt be an issue right? I've only had one jar get contammed in the whole time i've been growing. I've birthed about 30 jars but i geuss that isnt a lot compared to some people's grows here. (and never had any trich) so i feel some confidence that it might work but i geuss that does really impact the status of the spore print.
i wont open the cake box in the room, but i'm not sure how to dispose of it. i cant exactly just throw the whole thing in the trash bin right? or would the garbage men not notice it / not care? i could also dump it on an empty lot full of tires and shit, as i do live in detroit and the city is pretty much one huge trash dump, but i hate to litter. but i'm not sure how to dispose of it. i geuss i could also try to find an open dumpster around town which should be pretty easy.
